Worker Drone

Outside, early spring was in the air. The gradually increasing temperature had already begun its annual jihad against the forces of snow, leaving a battleground of slush in its wake. Birds began their chirping as the grip of winter finally subsided.

Eiion was uncomfortably working in the garage of his new boss. He was the most recent, and first, hire of a small construction contractor. The real work would begin in a week or so when their next contract finally started. Understanding a lack of income was difficult, Eiion’s boss graciously offered him a few hours pay to clean up and sort through the tools in his garage.

The work itself was fine, Eiion was a strong young man who knew his way around power tools. It was the temperature that produced the degree of uncomfortableness. While the garage was heated, the furnace only had two modes, on and off. Despite the cool weather outside, Eiion was sweating.

He was sorting through a box, loading the contents into various tool storage devices, when he bumped into something. That something was a tower of boxes he hadn’t yet tackled, and the disturbance caused the top box to fall. Instantly, shattering glass brought Eiion to attention.

A cool late winter breeze shook some snow off the trees, creating an illusion. Trees ached in relief at the lessened weight. Fresh powder reflected the sunlight driving back the shadows.

Carl stomped his way up the logging road. His snowshoes kept him above the snow, greatly aiding in his efforts. However, the weight and cold were quickly taking hold and draining his energy fast. With any luck, he’d soon find what he was looking for. Looking forward to living a dream, he pressed forward up the road.

Carl hugged the inner treeline as he walked around a curve when he spotted some optimism. Less than a hundred yards away resided some disturbances in the snow. Revitalized, he pushed forward. Each step was still difficult but much more doable.

He approached the disturbances to discover that they were exactly what he’d hoped for. Deep tracks, almost trenches, crossed through the snow. To wide, deep, and consistent for any animal active this time of year. But for a himbo, it was likely. Eager to find the heard, he jumped into the trench and started following it, hoping to find the source.

Valentines Advent Calendar for the Lonely Single pt. 2

Sunlight poured into the living room of the messy bachelor pad as Austin opened the door. The events of the night before were still fresh in his mind as he unceremoniously dropped his gym bag into the mess. Tired, he fetched himself a light snack.

Jesus had lit a fire under his ass, in more ways than one. Who knew that a good dick was just what you needed to get yourself out of a funk. Not only had he decided to lose the Christmas weight instead of letting it fester, he’d gone out and got a cute haircut.

Looking for something sweet, he reached for his new prized possession, the advent calendar his brother had given him. Upon opening day two, Austin was very concerned. The chocolate was green… Not a sickly green or one those ugly olive colored furniture pieces from the 70’s, more of a light green. The color was not what he expected chocolate to look like.

Austin was not going to let it go to waste, so he bit into it. To his pleasant surprise, it tasted fine. Better than that, it tasted like a cup of green tea. Inside, there was a wafer cookie that made the whole candy feel like a kit kat. He finished it off and waited.

Shirime

Puddles reflected moonlight through the scattered clouds. Returning skyward, it reflected off the bamboo leaves rustling in the wind. Travel was regular on this road connecting Kyoto to Nagoya, at least for those who possessed the proper paperwork.

Ito did not possess the needed authorization for this type of cross daimyo travel, but he didn’t need it. He lived in a nearby village as a respectful man. By day he’d cut bamboo and take care of the forest. In the evenings he cared for his wife and children. By all accounts, he was the strong, hardworking, family man everyone idealized; at least on the surface.

On a warm night after the rain drove the bugs into hiding, such as tonight, an itch would form. A deep desire would take hold that demanded satiation. A need that could only be filled with a nighttime stroll on the road through his forest.

Ito gently rounded a turn as he lazily walked to his usual turnaround. A couple hundred yards away, he spotted a figure traveling in the opposite direction. In the dim light, Ito grasped a rough understanding of who he might be.

His clothes were nice and well maintained but dirty from days of travel. On his back rested an awkwardly square pack that rested heavy on his shoulders. Traveling by night, he was clearly on a rather tight timetable. In total, Ito guessed that he was a young merchant.

The two moved closer as neither acknowledged the other’s presence. Only a dozen yards apart, Ito began his ritual.

The Smell of Ty

Mark strolled through the doorway of the small, detached house he owned. ‘Own’ is a relative term here. The bank owned it and he was paying the mortgage. A few months prior and this distinction would have been irrelevant to Mark; after getting laid off, this distinction was critical. No more could he pay the full bill on the greatly reduced income he was making in the gig economy. Cuts had to be made.

The specific cut was currently lounging on the couch playing the latest FPS in what appeared to be the same workout clothes he’d left in this morning. Named Tyler, or Ty as he insisted, the cut Mark had to make was giving up his home office and letting someone rent the room.

Ty had only been living there a couple of days, but already he was making his presence known. While they each had their own rooms, the bathroom, living room, and kitchen were shared. In none of these places was Ty greedy in his allocation of space but the sudden cramptness was jarring to a man who’d been living solo up until now.

Stepping out of the mud room, the primary area of Ty’s encroachment hit Mark like a brick wall. An oppressive wall of stench assaulted Mark’s olfactory as his eyes watered. “Jesus Christ!” he yelled out as his watery vision began to clear. “Did you not shower after work, Tyl…Ty!” Mark corrected himself before his new roommate would comment.

Without breaking eye content with the TV, Ty lifted his arm and sniffed his pit. “Guess not, oh well. Not that bad bro.”

Changing Whisper

The sound of a car crashing into another filled the room, followed by sirens in the distance. Week old pizza boxes were pilled on the coffee table as empty mountain dew bottles litter the floor. The blinds are closed tight, blocking all light from entering.

Ted opened the door to his apartment and was assaulted by the wall of stench. Immediately, he dropped his bag and stepped further inside. While walking to the far side of the room, he spoke. “Jesus Elijah, did you leave at all this week?” Reaching a window, he threw the blinds and opened the window.

“Fuck that’s bright! Oh, hey Ted.” Elijah paused the game and scratched his head, thinking. “I think I checked the mail once while you were gone.”

Cold air blew into the room, clearing out the funk. Ted stood there, exhausted. “What happened to that hike? Y’know, the one you swore you’d do during your week off.” A week with his high-energy family had worn him down physically and returning to Elijah’s slobishness was doing the same mentally.

“D’know. Didn’t feel like it I guess.” Elijah was done with the conversation. He turned away from Ted and unpaused his game, filling the room with noise.

Ted was starting to get highly annoyed. “Let’s go hit the gym, bro.” With any luck, he’d be able to work of the numerous calories before they stuck around.

“Don’t wanna.”

This made Ted angry. He was attempting to help Elijah be healthier, possibly get laid, and definitely not die young. The anger finally got to Ted. He threw his voice into an unusual tone and cadence. “Come with me to the gym.

Himbo Contact

Having just left his brother’s house, Nguyen Bao, or Bao Nguyen as he’d learned to introduce himself as in America, was driving in the remote wilderness. Bao had passed midlife over a decade before, but he still didn’t consider himself old. The highly physical job of plumbing had kept him in good shape for his age, even if all the bending over would occasionally tweak his back.

Directly to his right sat Lian, his youngest son. While loving all of his children, everyone knew Lian was the favorite. Lian had just returned home from completing his masters a week prior and they’d decided to take to visit family before Lian was dragged across the country for work.

With Bao’s brother living several hours out from the city, it gave him the perfect opportunity to partake in one of his favorite activities, hiking. After him and his family were mercifully rescued from Saigon, Bao quickly learned to love the natural beauty of his new home. Living in the city for work, he rarely got to imbibe in this passion.

Bao’s brother had given them specific instructions to use the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) lands to the south and to avoid the north at all costs. His brother had refused to go into specific detail, but bao understood something dangerous was occurring up there.

Unfortunately, Bao and Lian lacked a natural sense of direction. The overcast weather removed the sun as an orientational guide and their plan lacking a specific destination; they had gotten turned around. Rather than driving south for a fun afternoon of hiking, they were traveling north.

Edged and Gooned

Jerome stared at the laptop screen. Eyes devoid of thought, the occasional grunt escaped his lips. His left hand was locked in the same repetitive motion it had performed for the last half hour.

The hand would climb the long length, fingers gliding over every bump and ridge. Once reaching the head, his wrist would turn and begin the decent. The laptop was fulfilling its primary function.

Rarely used for work, the speakers produced fake moans and cheesy music. A fat ass bouncing on a long cock filled the screen and one of Jerome’s favorite pornos once again passed through its RAM.

With any luck, Jerome would remain in this state for another hour or two before inevitably fucking up and cuming.

Abandoned Logging Camp

A light peppering of mist filled the air as James sloshed through the muddy dirt trail behind Cody, his best friend. For once, James was happy he’d worn his thick rubber galoshes even if they made him look like a total geek for the sheer fact that his feet were safe from the cold mud. He began to pant as the trail started to incline while the mud suctioned his boots, making every step a chore.

Cody called out behind him, “Almost there. Trust me, it’s worth it!” before returning to his nearly robotic walking, seemingly ignorant to the bitterly cold mud soaking his pants and shoes.

‘How good can this place be?’, James pondered to himself. The whole reason he was out here was to figure out the cause of the sudden change in Cody.

James had known Cody for as long as he could remember. Starting in pre-school and all the way through the county’s jr. high, the two were always in the same classes. Even in high school, they’d managed to get all of their electives and extra curriculars together. Cody had to be the one person James knew better than anyone.

Yet, about a month ago a major change took place in Cody. One day after a solo hike, a hike they were making right now, Cody had left his normal jockular, messy, and easy going self only to return a different man. Upon arriving back, he’d cleaned the apartment to near photogenic perfection before James returned home from work. Cody had also stopped smoking weed with James and ceased watching porn on their high definition flat screen, things which had been a daily occurrence. On top of that, James couldn’t remember a single joke being told after that day. While most of this couldn’t exactly be construed as bad changes, the dramatic change concerned James.

How Men Should Smell

“New year, new me” had officially become Bernard’s official motto over the last week. Come hell or high water, he was determined to get his health back on track this year. While it’s true that Bernard had made this exact same claim in years past, all of them ending in failure, he’d managed to hold himself accountable thus far.

Some dietary supplements were showing good progress at minimizing his normal depressive tendencies that always lead to stress eating or the worst kind. All sweets and empty calories had been given a swift eviction from his kitchen. The addition of meal prepping ensured there was always a nutrient packed option available with little effort required.

For the first time in years, Bernard was confident that the slowly increasing number on the scale would finally plateau at 320 pounds. With any luck, his 6am meeting Monday would help it finally go down. Monday arrived, and that confidence began to evaporate.

While being a big guy, the several feet of snow and sub-zero weather forced Bernard to dress warm. Pants with thermals, multiple shirts and a heavy jacket, and a pair of heavy non-slick boots ensured he would have to face the biggest fear of his adult life, a locker room. Under ideal circumstances, Bernard would have arrived in his workout gear and leave in them. Jake told him otherwise as he instructed Bernard to walk to the gym.
